We do not throttle (slow down) your speeds. We also do not care which sites you visit or do not visit, what services you use or do not use, etc… We exhibit no favoritism here. That benefits you since all internet traffic is treated equally. Believe it or not, some ISPs are guilty of throttling and prioritization schemes.
Major ISPs like to impose arbitrary data usage caps. After the cap is reached, they will throttle the speed and/or charge a surprise fee on the monthly bill. WE DO NOT HAVE DATA CAPS!!!
Latency is the time it takes for an input from the user to be successfully sent to the internet destination or vice versa. For example, when playing Call of Duty online, the time from when you click to shoot to the time it takes the CoD Server to receive that input is the latency. The lower the latency, the better. Latency is important for online gaming, VoIP, video calls, and other applications that demand low latency. Latency does not matter in other areas such as email, web browsing, and streaming services.
We hate deceptive marketing and pricing. That is why when we advertise a monthly rate, that is the price you see on your bill and what you will pay. Any taxes and fees that exist are already lumped into the bill. Simple!
We exercise no favoritism. We simply provide internet service. This goes back to throttling and prioritization. See that section for more information.
In the unlikely event that support is needed, we will be there for you. We do not charge for it either. Why would we? We are providing a service, and if that service isn’t meeting customer expectations, we feel that we have an obligation to make it right.
There are no equipment lease charges. Although all the equipment used in the installation is the property of Lee Wireless, we do not penalize you for it by charging extra leasing fees!
As with any residential internet service, speeds are “up to” the stated speed. We strive to ensure that real-time speeds are consistent with our advertised speeds, but during peak usage times this may not always be possible. If slowdowns are detected, we will increase network capacity when possible!
We are not going to make you sign up for a long-term commitment. Why should you have to pay early termination penalties? We understand that life happens. You may be moving. You might be deploying overseas. You might just not want the service anymore. It doesn’t matter the reason. This is a prepaid service that is paid on a monthly basis. It is as simple as that!
The monthly rate is $50. That means you will pay $50, not a cent more.
This charge is due on the first bill. This charge is to defray the cost of the equipment and materials used for the home installation.
